There is a small white cat curled up on a writing desk. It opens first one bright green eye, then another, before stretching out to take in its surroundings. Which mostly happens to be books. The moon hangs full in a starless sky. The last dredges of winter that have been hanging around in the Wood vanish without warning, giving way to the heat of midsummer. The area near the barracks practically vibrates with the sound of music and laughter. The fairy lights dance along the pathway, inviting everyone to come and join in on the fun.
